Governance Principles

The Fleurette Group believes that basic core values of respect and honesty, mutually beneficial relationships and responsibility towards people, society and the environment is paramount in business. Fleurette seeks to make a positive social impact in every area the Fleurette Group works in, respecting the rights and acknowledging the aspirations and concerns of each community while working hand-in-hand with them.

A Fleurette subsidiary must:

  • Develop the full potential of its people.
  • Foster a workplace that is non-discriminatory, respects personal dignity, provides fair rewards.
  • Provide a healthy, safe and secure working environment.
  • Avoid or limit negative impacts on the environment and/or biodiversity, to the best of its ability.
  • Prevent or minimize the pollution of air, water and land.

Transparency (EITI)

Fleurette fully supports the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), a global initiative to improve governance in resource-rich countries through the verification and full publication of company payments and government revenues from the oil, gas and mining industries.

Fleurette believes in the principles that promote good tax governance, accountability, and transparency, and we are committed to delivering on these principles inside our business.

This is why Fleurette is pleased to support the EITI, and to promote the values that characterize it: responsible stewardship of natural resources; transparency on money transfers between businesses and host nations and a commitment to accountability.

Anti-Bribery Policy

Fleurette believes that honesty, accountability, and integrity are essential values of the Fleurette Group, and as such these should be reflected in all its activities. Bribery or corruption of any kind threatens any company, its business, its prospects, the futures of those who work for it, as well as the communities the company operates in.

Fleurette’s position on bribery is clear: We do not condone, tolerate or authorise the payment, request or receipt of bribes. International and applicable Dutch and Gibraltar legislation prohibits bribery and associated criminal offences. Violations carry severe penalties for directors, companies, employees and officers.

Our reputation is of great value. We expect all our employees, advisors, consultants and business partners to share our values, to uphold our firm stance against bribery and corruption and to be guided by the robust principles we have adopted to safeguard these virtues.

Corrupt practices are forbidden and all Fleurette Group employees and associates have a responsibility to ensure that they are not involved in corruption of any kind - whether in our dealings with private counterparties or in the public sector. The discovery of any breach may lead to criminal investigation and internal investigation, the termination of business relationships; and loss of employment for those involved.
